Bump anyone? I can't seem to stop it and I fear I am going to loose my whole tank.

Alkalinity burn comes to mind when STN occurs at the tips... Have you tested with a reliable test kit? I would certainly test alk, ca, and mag with good test kits, post up and maybe we can at least diagnose or help You are definitely receding at the base, the algae is growing on the dead skeleton, any other areas of these corals infected? Regards

Looks like it could be alk burn to me... New growth is most sensitive to the burn too. Also could be high nutrients. I had the same problem for a long time. My kalk additions thru top off was fluctuating because of changing evap rates causing an unstable kh. Also doing waterchanges with salt with a way higher kh than the tank caused it.
