FS: Frag tank system, misc equipment, etc

Hi All,

My wife just axed my plan to set up a separate frag growout tank/quarantine system in my garage so I am selling my frag tanks and some miscellaneous equipment. I still get to keep my large system so everything is ok. Here is a list of items for sale if anyone is interested.

1) 2 brand new never used glass frag tanks - 48"x30"x10"high, drilled for a 1.5" & 3/4" bulkhead $300 each These are the same tanks at Aquarium Depot where they have their sps/acro colonies/frags for sale

2) Vertex IN-180 protein skimmer $200

3) 2 Ed Simmons Media Reactors $100 OBO

4) 40 Breeder tank with 2" bulkhead and 1/2" return $60

5) Jebo chiller JC288 - I have used this with a system volume of 250 gallons and it could handle the load without problem. You do not need a separate temp controller, it comes with the chiller

6) Catalina solar T5 (4 ft) 4x54watt light $100, Catalina solar T5 (30") 6x24watt $100 each (I have 2 of these)

7) Wet/dry acrylic sump with 1.5" bulkhead $40

8) Mag drive 9.5 $60

9) Catalina Aquarium 175watt black metal halide pendant and ballast $100

10) CPR 18watt power compact fuge light (the one used for a cpr aquafuge) $30

11) Coralife aqualight 2 18watt powercompact hood 12" $45

12) Vortech Mp40w driver $50

13) Neptune AC Jr with dc8 $150

I just thought of an alternative that just might work. I maybe able to set it up in my other garage, out of her sight. I'll hold off on any sale.

I've had inquiries about some items but I have decided to keep everything for now. I might have jumped the gun too quickly on this one. I was so upset last night because I labored to build both stand and shelving and was on my way to install the lighting before she had a change of heart. We had talked about it and she is ok with me putting it in our other garage where it is out of her sight. Thank goodness for the separate garage. I already claimed it as my man cave prior to us buying the house so it is all cool with her. I am about a few mh ballasts away from completing my frag system and hopefully I get this completed soon.
