Red sea max conversion

I have a red sea max 130 that I am not currently using and would like to try and convert it into a terraruim for my son. I realize that this is not a reef related topic but I have been unable to locate any info on how to do this. The only real problem I see with using the red sea max is the hood. I really don't want to modify the hood for this purpose because I plan on setting it back up as a aquarium in the future. Does anyone know of a place or way I could make a hood to fit the red sea max so it could be used in this manner? All we want to put in it are some tree frogs and maybe some small fresh water fish in the bottom. Thanks for any help.
