Tank Temp
When I got my tank a month ago the temp was staying around 78F and is now around 87F for the past few days. The heater is unpluged and the room temp is around 66F. How do I get the temp back down to around 78-80F? I do have glass tops on but just took front glass off in hopes that temp will go down some over night. I was thinking of getting the plastic screen they use for lights and cutting them to fit.

glass tops will add a lot of heat. Taking them all off will help then add a small fan blowing over the top if your still to hot.

Get clear mesh from bulkreefsupply.com and a diy window screen kit from home depot. Make a mesh top.
Add fans. You might also need a chiller for the summer months.
