New to softies + Impulse buy.

Added two soft corals to my tank. Was an impulse but I was taken by their beauty.

Issue is:

Have a Green hammer wall coral, and a pink tipped hammer coral.

I made sure to dip them in heavily airated treated salt water before introducing them to my tank. The pink seemed to expunge a lot of mucus while in the bath.

The green has opened up beautifully and looks happy as a clam (ha) however the pink tip is still being pretty reclusive even when I'm feeding.

Any suggestions?

relax, keep your parameters stable, and circulation good. How old is your tank and what are your reasings? Need more info, but I've ran into similar problems- most of which were correctable.
