Reef crest seems to be the most popular. That what i run. I dialed it back to just over 50%

i run my mp40 (only flow in my 90g tank) on the first setting of the purple mode at 55-75%. sorry i forgot what its called. and when i clean the glass i set it on the second purple mode (nutrient transport mode).
i find that reef crest mode isnt powerful enough in its random flows. if you watch it you can see that it actually stays below 50% for majority of the time which i think is dumb but thats just my opinion. i do how ever some times use this mode at night when the fish are sleeping. in the end its really up to you and your personal preference. if i was you i would just go through all the modes and see which one you like best. |

I run reef crest with nutrient transport mode an hour a day. Corals seem to like it and keeps my tank free of detritus.
