40 breeder how many mp-10?
I have one mp-10 on my 40 breeder right now and it's just not enough flow. Should I go with another mp-10 or just save up for a mp-40? Not much SPS Mostley a anemone/soft coral tank, just want to have a nice healthy flow.

http://www.ecotechmarine.com/calculator. They say just one, but two dialed down might be ok. An MP40 would likely be too much, even if dialed all the way down, if you have LPS.

Maybe there's something wrong with my pump. I'm running the pump on reef crest at 90 precent and feel like it's lacking
I'm also running the foam on the pump to protect the anemone, do you think that decreases the performance of the pump?

Make sure the wet side spins freely when detached, and make sure you have it line up correctly with the dry side. I have seen diminished performance with mine if one gets out of alignment. Assuming you have it mounted on the side of the tank, you might want to set up a standing wave, which should give plenty of flow.

Ok I will give that a try. I just installed a new wet side a week ago, It's been making some noise at full power butt I just figured it is braking in.
