fragging elegance coral

i have an huge elegance coral that is probably 8-10in fully open with three mouths i eas thinking of keeping on and selling the others but i have not heard of anyone fragging these local any advice?

nope i was gonna sell the whole thing but its just so friggin awesome. didnt know how expensive they are either. i need to probably get it fragged before it starts stinging things

It has been done but imho it is a big risk to frag an elegance. They are an iffy coral left alone. I would be afraid it would die.

No kidding, don't frag it the risk is huge on killing the whole thing. Sell it whole. I have someone in mind if you want to sell it

we've fragged our elegance quite a few times and haven't lost one yet. We use the diamond wheel on the dremel to cut up through the skeleton. Right before we hit the flesh we use titanium clippers to make one clean cut through the flesh. It's important to do it quick and clean. Make sure that there isn't any heat building up when using the dremel.
