Well, Peder, now you have gone and done it. You have shown us your beautiful aquarium, so now you must give us all the technical details about the aquarium, support systems and maintenance methods.

I am happy and mad at the same time. You have a beautiful tank but teasing us with that short video wasn't cool. We need longer video. And before anyone else a full tank shot.

Firstly, upload your images to an image server like Photobucket or Flickr. Then you can easily link them into the RC thread. I suggest this method as I find RC is very slow to host images.

Once your images are uploaded to the image server, copy the URL of the image there, open up the editor here on your RC thread, and use the yellow mountain icon to post the image's URL into the thread.

I have been asked about my tank,
And heres some more relevant info

Tank was started july 2011

In total with sump and skimmer plus fragtank about 1800 liter in the system

Mean midget skimmer(custom build) 220 cm tall, with "oldfashion" airstones - 9000 liter of air per hour through it. It contains about 250 liter of water.

Automatic cleaning and emptying of the top. Fed by Tunze pump, providing 5000 l per hour.

Lanthanum used weekly, by dosing system 12 ml Seaklear 1 time weekly.
Semiautomatic weekly waterchange 100 liter
R/O for top off water
Use 2 balling system with aut. Dosing.

Daily dosing:

10 ml Pohls Xtra

Amazing tank

Yesterday we drove to Peders wonderful place north of Copenhagen for a visit.

It was the first time we saw the tank and we got TOTALLY blown by its health, beauty and colours. Its so beautiful that it looks like a piece of live photoshop.

I took my video camera along and did a video of Peders tank for those not able to visit his place. Enjoy it!

Warm regards,
Dino

Nice skimmer!
What made you decide to go with air stone skimmer?
Is the small skimmer under your cabinet also air driven?
What air pump are you using to drive the skimmer?
Are you using wood air stones?

Hi Dave,

Thx a lot, I do think that all the credit here should go to Dino - he made this beatyfull video.

@Muda

Hi,

Thx for spending time to look at my tank
In regards of Mg running a bit high at 1500 - i have to say....... Theres no specifik reason. I am just used to keep it at that level, and it works for me.

I raise it with DecOcean products from his special brand of Balling, my sps corals truely loves this productline.

@rpjaws74

Thx

@savingOurSeas
Thx

Snook65

Thx

@ksed

ksed Nice skimmer!

What made you decide to go with air stone skimmer?
Is the small skimmer under your cabinet also air driven?
What air pump are you using to drive the skimmer?
Are you using wood air stones?

Hi ksed,

Airstone skimmers are superior in performance, in my opinion.
I think they make smaller bubbles, and are easier to keep at peak performance.

Yes, I use Sanders big size wooden air stones. The biggest, and a box every third month.

For the huge skimmer I use 2 powerfull Yasunaga lp60 - very stable, and makes alot of air.

Again thx to Dino for making the video

Regards,
Peder

Thanks Peder

Buying a box every third month is very expensive?
