FS: Marine Pure Ceramic Bio Media 8x8x4 Block
I have had this block live in my 300DD Sump for about 1 year now.
23,000 Square Feet of Surface Area Watch the Tutorial on You Tube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ByTzKjqYA2U http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9HeNy9aWm6I http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fGP_qoIVmz8 Pest Free and Completely Covered in PODS. This is the most effective way to have it set up if possible so that from all sides waters passes through it. (DSB has been removed, FYI) Asking $100 which I think is a very fair price. When you come to visit, we can scoop it out of my sump real time. Please bring a bucket to keep it submerged until you place into your sump. Greatly reduces tank maintenance due to it bacteria harboring characteristics!! A huge advantage of having this technology is that you don't have to cram a bunch of expensive not as effective rock into your display. You now have the luxury of finding rock simply for its aesthetic appeal. Perfect for solo frag system set ups! Thank you for for your interest. PM or Call/Text 772 559 1814 Robert |

Great question -
I already have about 250 - 300 lbs of Pukani Rock. Pukani Rock in my opinion is the highest quality porous rock. (that I could find anyway) Since my system is overloaded with this particular type of rock, my bio media block isn't needed any more. I only needed this media block to help me get to this point. Now my rock is fully seasoned and cured. This Bio Media block is really for someone that wants a limited amount of display rock or has a system filled with a more dense rock and is in need of an extra kick or support. |
