LED lighting for 20X20X20

my tank is on order, 20X20X20. I'm looking into a DIY LED lighting fixture. So how many watts per gallon is considered good for SPS growth these days? I'm planning some SPS up top and some LPS down lower in more shaded areas. From what I have read so far it looks like 2W per gallon is about the average recommended. So roughly 70 watts or 24 3 watt LEDs. Also seems like people are doing 1/6 blue, 1/6 royal blue and 2/3 daylight/red/uv mixed. Sound about right?

If I don't do a DIY, I am looking for recommendations for a good LED fixture with separate blue and white channels dimmable with either 0-10V or PWM. Open to suggestions. Thanks.

All I'll say about this is watts is meaningless with LED's. Lumens is what matters. I also suggest a dimmable driver because more than likely you will be putting out a lot of light and it's easier to dim what you set up than playing guess work with what is correct for you tank set up.

The drivers will be dimmable. I will be coding a program for an industrial PLC to control everything. Lights, heater, chiller, dosing, wavemaker . . all in one controller. Best part is I can get the controller virtually free, just have to write the code. Can you direct me to a good thread for a crash course on LED lighting? Ive been digging for a few days and have found a lot of "use this, not that" stuff but not really the information I'm looking for to DIY a good light.
