Question International shipping?

Hi Mary and Rich!

On your website you mention international shipping. Can you please tell me whether or not I can order to Canada through you? My concern is of course that the time with customs, etc will end up killing most of what's on the rock!

Do you have a Canadian distributor at all?

Thanks,

Rob

International

We ship worldwide all the time, but shipping internationally is not so easy or economical.

First, if you are in Canada, and can drive to a US airport, such as Buffalo, it is a piece of cake. Freight is only about $50 per 100 pounds, no permits are needed, there is no duty or tax on live rock, so it is easy to just drive your rock home.

But....

If you live way up in Canada, like Edmonton, and wish to receive your rock at the airport there.........

We have to obtain a $175.00 CITIES permit from Washington, takes two weeks to get, plus a $55 Fish and Wildlife clearance fee, and the freight is about $130.00 per 100 pounds. Plus your customs people will want to inspect the shipment also, but when accompanied by the CITIES permit, they just release it to you.

So bottom line is, if you can drive, you save a lot of $$$$, but we can ship anywhere in the world, for a little more $$$ and paperwork.

That is everywhere in the world, but Singapore and Hawaii...

If you need any more info, give us a buzz at 1-813-875-3574
Thanks!
