Best Nano-Skimmer for JBJ 30 RL?

As the title suggests, what's the best skimmer for a JBJ Rimless 30 Gallon?

I'd like to keep use of the center compartment, and am willing to lose one of the stock "filter" holders for using the skimmer, as I'm getting an InTank fullsize filter basket today.

cad lights pls-50. seems to be the new go to skimmer for nanos. just stay away from the aquatic life mini 115 at all costs. i use the cad lights pls-100 and it works great.

Tunze 9004, had a little trouble adjusting to the skimmer at first but once it got going, it gets going. it fits in the back of my 30 JBJ rimless tank with little to no adjustments.

Nice. Good skimming once dialed in?

What do you fit the CAD-PLS-100 in? It looks like its about 0.5" too big to fit in the JBJ 30
Looks like a great skimmer!

Any idea how well the CAD-50 performs? The Amazon reviews are only so-so: http://www.amazon.com/Cad-Lights-PLS...owViewpoints=1

I've chosen the JNS-WS1. I'll let you know how it does!

I had the eshopps nano on my JBJ30RL.. great skimmer. I ran both media baskets on one side to make room. Tight fit, but worth it.

I went with the eshopps for the sole reason that I didn't want to mod the cad pls. Still haven't set it up though but did test it. It's quieter than the IM ghost.

I am running the Tunze 9001, extremely quite, works much better in a tank with an ATO.

I don't meant to bump an otherwise dead thread, but I thought that someone should come and refute this claim.

I ran the Aquaticlife 115 for about 6 months, and it functioned perfectly, and was a great skimmer, pulling surprisingly good skimmate for a nano skimmer.

I've since switched to a Tunze 9001 to try it out and compare the two, and honestly I got better skimmate from the Aquaticlife 115. I'm still working on dialing the Tunze in, but it was in no way better at the get-go, even after running it for a month now, I'm still not convinced it's any better.
