Ushio 10K in Aquamedic Reeflex?

Would I have any problems running that bulb with that ballast? 150W version if that matters.

Nope, if the bulb is a 150 watt DE and the ballast is a 150 watt Reeflex Cube (m81) then they were made for each other.

Ahh ok now I have read that those ballasts tend to be loud and run hot. I have the option of going with the M81 or also have the option to go with electronic ballast of the aqua medic.

I know the bulb won't output as much with the e-ballast but the MH will be used for a 4-5 hour midday burst only.

The light is the Aquamedic Ocean Plus which is 2x 24W T5 and the 150W MH. But the fixture is being retrofit with LED from nanobox for a tri-hybrid fixture.

I have a few of the Reeflex cubes, neither runs hot and the only sound is the fan.
