new member, new to marine

received a used 55 and decided to move up from freshwater to marine on the big tank.

spent most of the day scrubbing and bathing the tank in 1/64th mix water:muriatic to clear all the haze off the interior.

got half of a stand put together, made from 4x4, 2x6 and 2x4, rest will be done tomorrow.

still need to build and hang the upper shelf and sheathe the sides and back in lauan panel and add the molding to the corners and inset edge around the tank

plan on painting the interior black so as to not draw the eyes away from the fish, the exterior will be white to match the interior of my house.

I'm sure i will have tons of questions about the new knowledge i will need to move up from fresh to salt.
