Recordia crashing---old large colony
Not a new tank, and an even older colony. Dozens and dozens of heads, all varieties are looking a little off, but one variety is expelling zoxantilia. There are polyps all over the tank and it's not local. Everything else is doing fine even great. Only change I started having to supplement on top of lime so I'm adding Ca Chloride and baking soda, but I have been doing this since January. Anyone seen large periodic yuma crashes the way Xenia have been known to do?

Alkalinity issues can do that, chances are you're having some swings from adding baking soda. I'd try adding it in smaller doses throughout the day instead of all at once. Could be something else though, who knows...
