Dwarf seahorses and coral

Hello all. I'm going to be setting up a 10g nano reef in a few days. Before I get to the seahorses, let me set things straight. The main goal of this tank is to grow corals. As many different kinds of coral as I can fit into this tank. SPS, LPS, soft corals, it don't matter, I want it all. And a clam too! My other tank is not suitable for most corals, so this tank is to satisfy my coral desires.

Now, I've been contemplating what type of other animals I'd like to put in this tank, and dwarf seahorses are something I'm interested in. Is it possible to keep dwarves in a habitat such as this? Are they coral compatible? Is it possible for the coral to eat these little guys? If keeping dwarves in there compromises the kinds of corals I can keep, then I'll have to find something else.

Thanks,

TG

I do not recommend dwarfs in your tank. Many corals will sting and seahorses love to hitch onto anythhing they can. Also if you have any live rock or sand and or other critters they can pick on or eat the dwarfs. Live rock and sand can house critters that may also pick on or kill dwarfs. These guys at max are 1-1 1/2 inches.

I'll third that. Dwarf seahorses would not be acceptable for the tank you are planning. Sorry.
