"The Package" 90 Gallon Tank
This weekend I got the second installment of "The Package" from Tampa Bay Saltwater. The first installment contained half the rock and all the live sand. The sand was real live sand with lots of critters and even an urchin in it. The rock was a generous mixture of white and purple rock with a lot of growth on it. I quickly recognized that this is not the same stuff the LFS is selling. Its SOOO much nicer. A week later I got the second installment and it was more of the white and purple rock, lots of critters, a few corrals, fans, anemones, shrimp, crabs, and sea cucumbers.
This was an awesome experience. Richard is kind, responsive, and generous. The tank looks better than I could possibly have imagined. I'm so glad I took the plunge as opposed to going the LFS route. It was a lot of money at one shot, but so well worth it. Here are a couple pics. Last edited by bryceandbeans; 09/14/2015 at 05:37 PM. |

I really like your stand. DIY or store bought? What kind of light do you have under the hood?
I'm in the process of building a 75 and will probably go with TBS!

Thanks. Its a store bought stand.
For lighting, I have 2 48" Current USA Orbit Marine Aquarium LED Lights. |

when I first got them I was worried they were not bright enough but I was running them w/o an y water in the tank as I was still getting pluming parts. now that it's got the first part of the package and I have ran the lights I think they are doing a very good job. the early versions I hear had less powerful led units and the most recent ones were re-done to add more powerful ones.

Looks nice and bright!
I'm not a big fan of the tall canopies. Yours looks very proportional, not too tall, not too slim. If you get a chance, could you measure the height for me? I want to build mine the same.
