Ricordea placement?

So, I got this mushroom in a group buy, only wanted the 2 clowns, but had to take all livestock in the tank to get them.
This Ricordea was part of the package, he's attached to a piece of old coral.
This is the only mushroom I have.
Put it on the gravel.
Did some searching, sites say start low, move up until he's happy.
Well, as he seems happy, i'm not sure I should move him up.
Want him off the sand though.
Would like to hear from someone who has one like this and where you put it.
65 gallon red sea max, 6 T5's.

It will be fine as long as it is not very shaded, I have nearly the same morph around the same depth and it gets half of its light by reflection.

Nice ric..I would personally move him away he seems to close to the other coral..it will expand where one of your corals can get irritated..he seems happy though just concerned for your other corals

Nice ric. I would consider sticking him to the rock just above him. He already likes the flow and light and it would show him to good advantage and free up
valuable real estate.
