Touch Vs Non Touch Screen
I've been looking at the Nikon D5300. I like the idea of the swivel screen and the price lightly used is in my wheelhouse.
It looks like the comparable Canon models have a touch screen and the swivel option. I'm wondering how much more convenient the touch screen would be. Toughts? As always, thanks, Adam |

I ended up finding a really good deal on the Canon 70D. It has the swivel and touch screen and is more comparable to the Nikon D7100 (a step up).
Now to start looking at tripods and lenses. Cheers, Adam |

touchscreen has nothing to do with taking pics. don't see how it can improve aquarium photography.

I was asking about convenience but thanks for chiming in.
Good luck to you. |

I have never dealt with a touchscreen LCD, but would imagine it is counterintuitive if you press your nose up on the screen and it controls some of the settings before taking a pic? Live view mode?
