clam looks off today
i have not had a clam for a while, saw on at lfs, about 4,5 inches , have had him for about 2.5 weeks maybe a bit more, he is attached to a flat rock on the sand bed, has not moved from day one . i have a pair 250 mh , and 4 t5 tubes. should i move him up the rock work , or leave be. only reason i am asking, noticed today that the clam has not open up as much as before, not sure if this is something clams do from time to time , water paramaters are all fine, i run carbon , and rowa, and i have a calcium reactor, tubes come on in the am, mh come on around noon, cycle off at 6 ish , tubes shut down at 9 ish. any input would be help full. thanks
p.s. have not seen anything pestering it, once in a while a hermit crab or shrimp will pick at the shell, know sign of snails or parasites. Last edited by royvoss; 03/04/2016 at 03:45 PM. |
