Clam ID?
I don't know what it is, it was sold to me as a Squamosa but I've had my doubts from day one.

Thanks, I've tried to ID it myself and was hoping for experts to chime in. I'm thinking it might be a hybrid but who knows?

Look like a Crocea/Squamosa hybrid to me.
Opening is too small for Crocea. not elongated like Maxima and the numbers of folds is too low for Maxima. Color patterns look like Crocea. I have seen Crocea/Squamosa that look like that also.

One thing I will say is it's not a maxima, shell shape/length just isn't right, I have a nice 5.5" maxima to compare to. Thanks you all for your responses.

the scutes on the shell make me think not a T. crocea, but the mantle does look very crocea like. i could buy it as a hybrid.
