Fathead Dendro

Hi All,
I just received my latest addition to my tank today.
It's a fathead dendro colony 5 heads. It's only been in my tank
for a couple of hours. More photos in a few days when it's
fully acclimated.
Barry

I love my fathead, had him a year but unfortunately he hasn't split yet.
Best practice is to just keep it happily fed? Any tricks out there (like ive seen for BTA) to get them to split?

Feed, feed and feed some more, my 3 head colony was happy on once or twice a week feeding, but more than a year later there were still only 3 heads. In last year it grew over 20 new heads , but i feed almost every day now ( i do skip a day or two sometimes if i am not home.)

Do you have to feed each head?
