It looks like Roger tore off his own smashers? :(
I know he's either in the middle of molting or just finished... I feel like this is the beginning of the end for him and I'm helpless ;(

It looks like the shell of one is lying at the end of the tank and he's eating the other one. Will get some pics asap.
I want to do a water change but I don't want to disturb him.

He may have just had a rough molt and his smashers were damaged in the process. I don't know what good a water change will do you right now. Has he been healthy recently? Is he full grown?
If he doesn't have smashers you'll just have to feed him frozen until he can regrow new ones. I'd feed him twice a day if you think your water quality can hold out. Hope everything is ok!

Yes he's been healthy and I think he's about full grown. I think maybe they weren't molting right cause it looked like they were cracked and the old skin wasn't coming off right...

Yeah larger specimens will have trouble in molting. It's more and more scary as they grow larger because they just can't free themselves from the old skin as easily. Feed w/lots of Selcon and keep him healthy. Hopefully he'll pull through just fine!
