I asked my LFS about this and he said that he doesn't want to endanger his employees whoch is understandable. Im probably gonna get on the email for blue zoo but also try and ask around the forum if anyone has one as a pest in their tank. Thanks for the advice!

LOL! That's cute. Fwiw I got a 1.5" chiagra (I think) yesterday, it came in as a hitchhiker in some zoa rocks apparently. The new girl picked it up with her fingers and got hit twice. Seriously. I'd be far more concerned with lion fish stings. I've tried to order smithiis before from my Lfs and they are apparently all labeled as peacocks if they are green in most of the LA distributors. Any way you could ship a G. Smithii to me? I live in Washington. I would gladly pay for shipping and the critter. Thanks!

Is there another Lfs near you that would be willing to order one? I think mine came from sdc.

Also wish I could get one from you but I'm sure shipping is probably close to $100 or more to the us

FWIW, I've been on Blue Zoo's notification for any of the G. smithii "items" since 2/8/2016 and have never received an email. The status still shows "pending".

Yeah, I would send them an email, mantis shrimp other than peacocks aren't super high demand.

I would email Blue Zoo, they maybe able to get one in for you. IIRC in the past, I've only seen the G. Smithii's in their Collector's Choice section.
