Tunze 6208 Wavebox

Just received my Tunze 6208 Wavebox, connected as per instructions power brick light is on. Wavebox controller is blinking, but no response from the wavebox motor. Impeller is not spinning. Inspected the motor visually no issues on the motor cable itself.

Purchased it on 2/11/17 from amazon.

Hi, I replied to your email earlier. Two things, are you sure the pump is fully assembled, i.e. the front and back half did not separate so the impeller is hitting the cover or box, this is the most common problem. Second, what model pump is in your 6208, up until late last year they used the 6055, they switched to the 6095 since the motor will have a label saying what it is. I can certainly send you what you need to get up and running if it is not just the impeller jamming.

Hi Roger,

Thank you for the quick reply! I will need to examine the motor closely, I
m at work currently, yesterday when I was troubleshooting the issue. The impeller was moving freely with no obstructions that I see. I disassembled the wavebox and inspected the motor itself, no obstructions hitting the impeller. Once again thank you again Roger for the quick reply.

Best regards,

Rod

The main thing is that the front half and back half of the pump are together, the front half sticks through the front of the box, if these two hemispheres of the pump are not connected, once it is put together the impeller will hang up and stop, this is very common when they are new as the pump separates due to being jostled around in shipping.

Roger,

Looks like the motor is 6055. Front half and back half is together and secured but the impeller still wont turn.

Please email me the receipt, I will get out the new upgraded pump, it is the pump and a new faceplate since the new pump has a larger nozzle diameter.

Yes the 6055, I've sent you the copy of the invoice from amazon.com.

Thanks in advance,

Rod
