ATO feeding kalk on different floors

Hi, I am planning on installing my top off bin and RO/DI in the basement which is 4 meters below the first floor where the main tank and sump is located. I am also setting up my deltech kalk stirrer on the first floor beside the sump. Will this be a problem? I will install a wye check valve for the ATO pump, and another stock mini check valve from Deltech that came with the stirrer. Thanks!!

Easy... avast ato system or you could get just the diaphragm pump. I have the whole system and it works flawlessly

Thank you for the reply, but sorry I forgot to mention, the ATO system I am using is the Storm Pro from Genesis Reef. The total system is rather large, about 1500 gallons. So ATO pump has to be stronger I suppose? I am running halides so looking at a good amount of evaporation everyday.

Look into a Litre Meter from Spectrapure.
Available with extra pump modules that may do everything you need.

Thank you for the reply and info. I looked it up online, is it this one you were referring to?

If so, I couldn't find the maximum output info of this pump. I need around 10+ gallons a day for ATO. Were you suggesting I can daisy chain with more than one pump and wire them in serial and plug them all in to my Genesis Reef controller as one pump?

Thank you!

Main control pump- functions a main pump & controls dosing amounts on different pumps.
What you posted are extra modules to pump a different solution.
You need 1 of each for a dual dosing system.

99.99 liters per day. I have one in the basement pumping kalk 30 feet. I've been using Litermeters for 20 years. Never had a failure.

Got it, thank you. However, do you think the control unit on the Litermeter will interfere with the Genesis Storm controller? Sorry I am not familier with Litermeter and don't knwo how it functions.

Thanks for the info! I did a rough calculation of my evaporation rate, I might be looking at 20 gallon / day, which is about 76 liters / day. Doesn't that mean I'll be running the Litermeter almost 15 - 18 hrs a day or something? Is that good for the pump? Or this is where the additional pump comes in place?

The Litre Meter runs 150 times a day & you set the total amount of liquid it dispenses for the day. Any adjustments needed are very simple & easy.
No need to connect it to another controller it does it all on its own.
Any other satellite pump would be for a different substance.

I'd step up to a Masterflex if you're pumping 20gal a day.

Sending a PM
