Biocube LED upgrade options.....help

I recently purchased a Biocube 32 LED and was curious if anyone has added additional LEDS to the lid. I recently purchased a couple corals and they don't look near as good in my tank as they did in the store. Help me out guys....thanks

Did you have to send it to them? I am hoping to be able to get additional LEDS in my hood

It's expensive, but there is also Steve's LED's for the BC32 that you can install yourself. I'm not sure if were allowed to post links to vendors, so just google Steve's LEDs and it should come up first.

IMO 350 for that is a lot, does it have different channels n are you able to control dusk to dawn? I installed a use hydra52 inside my vitilife biocube 29g, so far its doing pretty good. My btas are loving the lights.

It comes with a 16 channel Hurricane x controller. It claimed you can simulate storms, lightning, and dusk / dawn with it.

Steves LED's are expensive but they are really nice. I have them in my 29 Biocube and get all the lighting I need out of them.

We just ended up removing our hood altogether and throwing some CBBs over it and calling it a day. So far so good.

If you are handy you could always fit the guts from one of the chinese black box leds into your hood. Alot cheaper than the alternatives
