Help to id tiny creatures
Ok guys so tonigth i look at my aquarium with a flashligth and i see hundreds if little shrimp like creatures floating around. What are they? Amphipods, shrimps? And ehat does it mean? Pictures kinda suck also last pic is of ehat i think is a baby snail theres two ive seen in the tank so far. At least thats ehat i hope unless its some type of nudi.

The shrimp like specs are copepods (good), the dark snail is a stomatella snail (also good). I think the last ones are little pineapple sponges (good and they will go away soon).

It's kind of hard to tell from those pictures, but if those shrimp like creatures appear to be swimming on their own then they're probably Mysid shrimp. These will sometimes hitchhike their way into our tanks on live rock, corals etc.
