Modifying bashsea acrylic sump

I just bought a bashsea acrylic sump from a guy and my skimmer will not quite fit in one of the chambers. I was wondering if I could somehow cut the center baffle out and move it a couple of inches or is the acrylic bonded together?

Well.. they make quite a few styles so a picture of your specific problem may allow a better answer but yes its certainly possible for one to modify an acrylic sump and then re solvent weld a brace back on..
