Maroon Clown Suddenly Wary of LTA
I've had a young lightning maroon clown paired with a LTA for over six months. He loved to stay hunkered down in the tentacles, cleaning it, making sure everything was good. Then, this morning, I noticed he isn't entering the tentacles, but swimming just barely out of reach of them. He stays close to the nem, but seems reluctant to get down inside of it. This is unusual behavior for him. I believe I read somewhere that a LTA may, on rare occasions, actually try to consume a clown fish, but I doubt this would suddenly happen after all this time together. What could have happened?

I guess he was just being clownfish... Mine sometimes doesn't get too close to his bta too, it rarely happens though. He always sleeps in bta at night.

Update
The lightning maroon clown has returned his normal behavior. I believe I increased the flow too much toward the LTA, and this disturbed both it and the fish. (The nem actually tried to move a little bit out of the way of the direct flow.) I adjusted the flow and everyone seems happier.
