Smile Cycling with live rocks and dead sand

I started a saltwater set up a weem ago. With about 10 lbs of live rocks mixed with dead rocks and dead sand. I have a 75gallon. My question is, can I cycle my tank with just few libe rocks and dead sand? How long till its reafy for the clean up crew?

You can definitely cycle your tank with a mix of live/dead rock and sand. The live rock should help speed up the process. Make sure you have some sort of ammonia source.

You're ready for clean up crew when you have 0 ammonia and 0 nitrites. Time will vary.
