ocellaris clownfish agression

Hi

I have a juvenile pair that have been together for over 3 months now in 17 gallon.

One is much bigger than the other, hoping they would become female and male eventually.

I have been noticing the larger one nipping at the smaller one, like ramming speed. Is this normal?

They were doing great so far. How do you know when they are playing vs. agression? I obviously don't want a injured or dead fish.

So far the smaller one, I don't see any wounds. They don't hang out as much either.

There is a royal gramma that hide most of the time, just those 3 in tha tank.
