sea cucumber-weird...

my sea cucumber(which I still think is dead)...has a parasitic type thing growing out of the end of it...It looks like a small white tree, coming out of the very tip..I can get a pic if necessary...

what is it...is it dead?

Nope, it is extending its feeding tentacles.

When a sea cucumber dies, it will decompose in a matter of hours.
