Can the osmolator feed pump be connected directly to the outout line of an RO unit.
I have a GE RO unit purchased at Home Depot. It has a 2.5 gallon pressurized holding tank. |

No, it is only designed to work with a pump, we include a small 12V pump. Direct fill with RO is very risky, if the system fails not only do you have a flood but you loose your tank. Spectrapure makes the best direct fill systems. They make one with a couple safeties that is going to be the best you can find if that is the way you want to do it.

Roger this is the reason I went with the Tunze system I do not want to lose my tank for a float switch sticking. I have seen it happen many times on the boards. At least this way I will just have a low salinity problem of 5-8 gallons of RO/DI water.
