ORP steady, not working

First, I tried to clean my existing probe thinking there was biofilm on it. Secondly, I borrowed another ORP probe from a friend (its fairly new). Lastly, I initialized my ac2 to see if that would resolve the issue. My ORP reads 824 and never moves, even if the probe is not plugged in. Additionally, my PH drops to 2 when an ORP probe is plugged in. This happened a couple weeks ago without any apparent changes made to my system. Could the ORP interface on my AC2 have gone bad?

Could be a ground loop if you have a serial cable plugged in. If so, try unplugging the serial cable and see if your readings return to normal.
Plug the pH probe into the ORP connector. If the pH is above 7.00 the ORP reading should be zero.

I have tried without a serial cable. I have the same issue. I will try the ph probe on the orp interface.

Sounds like something is wrong with your controller. Please give us a call 408-578-3022 or send an email to [email protected], and I've give you an RMA #. Include the serial # of the controller, your name, and phone #.
