75 gallon, Calcium Reactor, lighting, and other stuff for sale

A rescent aquarium merger has left me with some some stuff for sale. I'll also list additional stuff I have for sale here.

The main thing I have for sale is complete 75 gallon setup. This includes:

--- An All-Glass 75 gallon aquarium with black silicon, black trim, and matching Black Pine Stand. I have had this for maybe two months. I bought it brand new. Retail Value of $320

--- A 48" Aquaspacelight. This is the one that has two 250W DE lamps and 2 Actinic PCs in the middle. However, I have done some modifications to it. I took out the PCs and in it's place I have put a 150W DE reflector with Socket. The Aquaspacelight has two cords coming out of it. One is for the 250W halides, and the other was for the PCs. When I did the mod I cut the PC power cord and wired it to the 150W socket on one end and then wired it to a 150W ballast on the other end. It is now capable of powering 3 halides instead of only two. So, the light is now the equivilent of this one

http://www.premiumaquatics.com/Merch...Code=Aquaspace

that retails for $900. The fixture needs new bulbs all the way around and doesn't include the 150W ballast to power the halide in the center. Both of the 250W ballasts work fine. It is a black unit and is in good condition, aside from a few minor flaws.

--- A Bak-Pak 2R with Pre Skimmer. The Collection cup needs a new "O" ring, which should be easily found at your local hardware store for less than $1. It is in used condition, but functions perfectly. This Retails for $149

--- 75 lbs of Sand - Cost $60

--- A bunch of Live Rock. I need to perform one more Merger before I know just how much Live Rock I will have. I estimate that it will be 50 lbs or so, but that is purely an estimate. The stuff that goes with the tank will not have a lot of coraline, but that will grow with time. I will add $2 per lb to the price when I discover just how much live rock there is.

--- I'll also throw in a heater and a couple power heads. That would cost at least $50 new.

I want $600 plus $2 per lb of live rock. That's a pretty sweet deal. It would be best if the buyer came to pick it up at my house. If it turns out I have to deliver then there will be a delivery fee involved to pay for the truck that I'll have to find and the time and labor of the owner of the truck.

I WILL NOT PART IT OUT ........ yet. I will leave the tank whole for 3 weeks to see if it sells before I decide to part it out. I won't put anyone on reserve for any of the parts untill I have made a post stating that it is officially being parted out. I don't want to keep track of people put on a waiting list and what order they are in and where their PMs are, and then have them back out when it comes time to part it out and I'm left going through a list of people in a full PM box trying to get PMs to everyone. I've dealt with all of that before and don't want the hassle this time around. So, if/when I make the post that it is being parted out (that will include individual prices of everything) I will start making the waiting list.

Ok, now that that is out of the way, I have a few more Items for sale .

OTHER STUFF

--- Giesemann Nova II - 150W DE - Black - Magnetic Ballast. It includes a 150W 10K Icecap Lamp that is about a year old.

Retails for $430. I want $225 if picked up and $250 shipped for it

In these two you can see the rust that has formed on the hanging hardware . This was uncontrollable, and everything that is rusted still works fine and isn;t about to break or anything.

--- IceCap 660 with heatsink, wiring harness, and 3 sets of endcaps with mounts. One of the sets of endcaps is a double set of endcaps. So, theres two sockets on each piece of the set. The other two sets are your typical endcap pair. so, there are enough sockets here to power 4 lamps. Retails for $240. I'll sell for $120 plus shipping.

3-36" lamps are included for and additional $20 plus shipping. Two of the lamps are fairly new. They are a 36" 30W Coralife 20K and a 36" 30W Coralife 10K. The other lamp is an older 36" 95W VHO Actinic White.

--- I have a 30 Gallon (36x12x16 I think) with Oak trim and an oak "colored" stand. There are some scratches on the glass, but it is all still in descent condition. This pair retails for $160. I would like to get $70 out of it, no shipping.

--- I have a complete Dual Chamber Reeftek Calcium reactor setup. The reactor itself with Mag 2 retails for $330

The JBJ CO2 Selenoid runs $90 new. Has a bit of rust, but functions properly.

The 10 lb CO2 tank runs $90 new. This tank has a good amount of rust on it. When I went to get my nice rust-free one filled at Praxair they said they don't fill tanks, just exchange them. For some reason I didn't push that I wanted them to fill my tank, and not exchange the tank. I just told them to get me one that is in good shape with minimal rust. I regret that now. But, when you go to get this tank filled (it's empty) just ask them for one in good condition and you should then have a nicer one.

The Pinpoint pH controller retails for $190 new. It is in used condition and needs a new probe but works fine. Probes run $45.

I have enough ARM media to fill one chamber, about $15 worth.

I want $470 for everything. I don't want to ship due to the CO2 tank, so all local interests or people willing to pick it up will have first dibs. If it comes to the point that I will ship then I will post an adjusted price here.

--- I have two Georg Fischer 2-way 1" Electrically Actuated Ball Valves. I bought these with the intentions of setting up a couple Bubbleless surges. I never got around to actually doing it or testing them out. I bought them used. They are just the Actuated Ball Valves, not the controller or power cord. These run about $300 a piece new. I would like to get $40 a piece.

I also have a few non-reef related items for sale . I have a Nikon Coolpix 995 with accesories, a Kenwood Car CD player that plays MP3s and has a face that changes colors, a TI-92 graphing calculator, and a Hotpoint Electric Stove. I won't take any thread space describing these items, but if you have any interest in any of these please PM me and I'll shoot you the details.

And that's it Folks. Pics of everything are on the way. If there is something you want a pic of please say so and I'll make it a higher priority. Thanx for your time and I look forward to doing business.

ZAK

For the record, everything listed below the bold OTHER STUFF is stuff that isn't in the 75 gallon package, so the not parting out rules don't apply.... except for the Calcium reactor and accessories. I don't want to part that out quite yet. For now it is just sold as a calcium reactor package for $470.

Also, the 3 lamps don't have to be sold with the IceCap 660. I was just saying that you can have the lamps too, if you want them, for an additional $20. I would like to keep the endcaps and mounts with the ballast, though.

Thanx Again

Sorry, but I have plans for all of the powerheads that I have that also meet the criteria of being worthy of selling. You could probably run over to Sailfin and pick up a mini-jet or something small like that for under $15, though.

That's pretty ridiculous. Maybe you can get one shipped from here for cheap, considering you are so close

I'll know for sure if the 75 setup is taken on Friday. The buyer sounds very confident that they want it, but they won't have the $ till Friday.

Thanx

after obvious little interest, I've decided to part everything out.

However, I can't sell the tank without selling the live rock and sand first. The only thing I can truly part out untill the live rock and sand sell is the aquaspacelight. So, my prices as of now are

So, the light is now the equivilent of this one

http://www.premiumaquatics.com/Merc..._Code=Aquaspace

that retails for $900. The fixture needs new bulbs all the way around and doesn't include the 150W ballast to power the halide in the center. Both of the 250W ballasts work fine. It is a black unit and is in good condition, aside from a few minor flaws. $300.

--- Just the ~ 50 lbs of live rock and 75 lbs sand - $2.50 per lb of live rock and the sand is free.

--- 75 gallon tank, matching black Pine stand, Bak Pak skimmer, live rock, sand, a couple of powerheads and a heater (details above) $450. If the live rock sells then I'll adjust the price accordingy.

HEre are some pictures. The first is what the tank lookd like when it was set-up.

This next one is what the tank looks like now. The live rock on the right is what is included with the tank. The stuff on the left isn't included. I have more that will go along with the tank, but no picture as of yet. The picture was taken with a flash so you can see the stand

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Also, my price on the 30 gallon and stand in the previous post has dropped to $50. I'll throw in $30 worth of black sand for free to the buyer. This is a total value of $190, new.

Thanx. Please feel free to email or PM me with any questions.

here it goes

--- An All-Glass 75 gallon aquarium with black silicon, black trim, and matching Black Pine Stand. I have had this for about 3 months months. I bought it brand new. Retail Value of $320. Since it is in like new condition and not very old, $230 is my price

--- A 48" Aquaspacelight - $300

--- A Bak-Pak 2R with Pre Skimmer. The Collection cup needs a new "O" ring, which should be easily found at your local hardware store for less than $1. It is in used condition, but functions perfectly. This Retails for $149. I want $70

--- Giesemann Nova II - 150W DE - Black - Magnetic Ballast. It includes a 150W 10K Icecap Lamp that is about a year old.

Retails for $430. I want $200 if picked up and $225 shipped for it

--- I have a 30 Gallon (36x12x16 I think) with Oak trim and an oak "colored" stand. There are some scratches on the glass, but it is all still in descent condition. This pair retails for $160. I'll also throw in $30 worth of black sand. I want $50 for it

--- I have a complete Dual Chamber Reeftek Calcium reactor setup. The reactor itself with Mag 2 retails for $330

The JBJ CO2 Selenoid runs $90 new.

The 10 lb CO2 tank runs $90 new.

The Pinpoint pH controller retails for $190 new. It is in used condition and needs a new probe but worked fine last time I used it. Probes run $45. I haven't looked at it for a while and when I did recently I discovered that somewhere along the line I had to splice the power cord. I'm not going to charge for this in the package. Consider this controller a free-bee.

I have enough ARM media to fill one chamber, about $15 worth.

I want $400 for everything.

and I think that's it. Please PM or email me with questions. If you buy nore than one of the above items then I'll cut you a deal.

Don't be afraid to buy from Zak. I got an awesome light fixture from him and he shipped it in great packing. Highly recommend doing business with Zak. He worked with me on the deal and was very helpful.

I sent you a PM.

I'm also curious to know whether the stock 3xMH fixture has one or two power cords...do you know? It seems like yours is more adjustable if that one only has one cord and the lights can't be used in phases.

Are the ballasts in this fixture magnetic? And internal? Is this unit pretty heavy?

Do you think the 150 in the middle will create too much heat for a center brace on a 90 gallon tank?

Thank you and I hope to hear from you, I need to buy some lights immediately...

Hmmmm, I'm not sure about the power cord thing.

The ballasts are magnetic. The ballasts are internal. It is a descently heavy unit. Considerably heavier than my old Giessemann unit.

I'm no expert, but I don't think the 150W in the center would be too much heat. I would definately recomend a fan of some sort blowing over the brace and the light, though.

I'll reply to your PM next

Thanx for the interest.
