HELP what is it
hi i have this thing in my tank i think it might be eating my button polyps we don't know what it is can any one tell me what it is please and if its bad for my tank here is a pic of it

A sundial snail. Get rid of it.
Yes, they eat polyps. They also readily breed so watch for more or eggs on your polyps.

I second that. Look up Heliacus for more info. You may want to put it aside and mention in the SPS forum you have one. Some people have zoanthids taking over and are looking for these.
