RO/DI on off question

I am going to be directly connecting my RO filter to my fresh water reservoir with a Kent Float valve. I was planning on running the RO filter on a timed solenoid to prevent the filter from cycling on and off all day. It will only turn on once a day. Just long enough to top off the bucket.

Is it okay to run the RO/DI filter on this type of schedule or will this cause problems with the life of the filters?

Current Tank Info: Taking a break for a while. Still Reading and Researching every day though.
