O/T Cozumel Anyone?
Jodi and I are going to stay in the US this year for vacation and are going to see if anyone in the club would like to use our timeshare in Cozumel this year. Our resort is the Melia Paradisus and is located on the north end of the island. We own a suite that sleeps 4 comfortably, and has a magnificent view of the beach and ocean. We snorkel and dive up and down the coast, and I even go bonefishing a couple times each trip. They also have a magnificent Nicklaus designed golf course, that ate 18 of my balls in 18 holes (I am a bogey golfer).
You can go anytime this year, and your only cost other than flights is $476 that covers the maintenance agreement. Our flights usually run about $350 round trip from DIA on Suntrips. This is a 5 star resort that charges $179-259 dollars per room per night depending on availability. I recommend going before June 1 or after September 1 as the temps in the summer can be really warm (90+). You will not need to go through any sales pitches unless you are looking to buy a timeshare yourself because I already own this one. I am not trying to make any money on this 1 week stay. If there isn't anyone wanting to go we will just bank the week and use it another time. Here are a few pics of the resort. Anyone interested should PM me and I can set everything up. This is what the view is near our room.

We went to Paradisus for our honeymoon and loved it!!!
Hmmm very tempting, will have to check with my husband, if someone takes it in the meantime, no worries, I have no guarantee that we can make it work this year with the new job and moves, etc. But it doesn't hurt to ask!

I'm interested. I wonder how the resort faired in the hurricane? I don't think they are accepting all the cruise ships back yet.
Is it a one bedroom condo or just a hotel room? I have 2 kids that are a pain in the arse to sleep in the same room with. How do you reserve the week? Call and check availability, or is it available at any time? Thanks Tony |

They said that the resort suffered only minor damage and that it has since been repaired.
The accomodations are a suite with a private bedroom a living area a kitchen and bathroom. The kids would probably sleep on the sleeper sofa. The availability has always been very good in the past, as I have never been told they didn't have my suite.

Nice, I'll make a 1 hour low pressure presentation to the wife tonight and get back to you.
Last time I was there my aunt almost died... she got hit by a jetski snorkleing off rainbow beach. She was in the hospital for a few days. |

The southern area of the island suffered the greatest damage from both hurricanes I have been told.

Bummer, I like that little rasta bar and the place across the street with the hammocks on the southern tip.

As long as you are going to a land lock st they will not bother you!!!!!!!!!!!!!! When i went on my hmoon in april of 05 i brought back a couplr hundred blue leg hermits and about 5 or 6 doz snails. I collected all of them a few days before i left. On the plain ride home there is a sheet of paper that they will give you that asks what you are bringing back and there is a box for crabs/snails. All i did was check the box and all is good. Take it for what it worth i have a buddy that has done the same thing more then once. And now we have a great clean up crew for nothing. But if you decide that you want to try this make sure that you keep these guys on your carry on. ec if you have any qs on how to do this send a pm

Hey Todd,
Is this the all inclusive? I seem to be pulling up two different ones. If it is the all inclusive one, is that in the $476 or is that extra?
