Texan looking for some quality SPS and LFS info.

Hello everyone.

I am going to be traveling to the Orlando area in about a month. I will be staying in the Longwood area and am looking for some good quality SPS either from local reefers or LFS. I know there are some killer corals in your area and would like to bring some back to the Texas market to share with our local group.

Can you guys help me out with some recommendations on some local reefers to contact or LFS that carry high quality SPS? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks again,
Chris

Yup. Ocean blue has some nice ones but a bit pricier but bigger. Fish bowl gets nice ones in but sell out very quick.

If you are looking for anything in particular, let me know via pm. While I was rearranging, I broke some pieces up on accident that I'm selling.

I agree with SITC. That's what the Yup is about. If you go on a Monday, call a day before as they are closed but sometimes open up.

Thank you guys for the information!

I have gotten a few PM's on frags that might be available. As it is a trip to visit the better half’s relatives I am on a limited time frame. You all know how it is, I am going to be able to pick up a few frags and maybe some colony's from the LFS for the support (bribe from the girlfriend) of going. LOL

I will be contacting a few of you through PM before I travel to arrange a good time to meet with you. I will be coming back to the sweet home of Texas on the 4th of April, so will be trying to arrange times to pick up the frags that day.

Thanks again and keep the contacts coming. I am a member of the DFWMAS.org reef group in this area and we definitely like our corals. Please feel free to post on our site if you have a variety of frags you would like to sell. My user ID is the same (cfrobin) on that site.

Look forward to meeting some of you!

Chris

Pet Safari is in longwood right off 17-92 and 434. And if you can I would suggest Ocean Blue. My opinion the best selection for fish and corals. There off aloma and 417. Its worth the trip to Ocean Blue.

East west expressway. You can go down semoran/436 toward altamonte and you will see aloma. Take a right on aloma I believe. I would just mapquest it to be sure. It's been awhile since I've been there.

Just a friendly note...coming onto this site with the sole intention of singing praises of a store that YOU work at is not allowed.

go east on the east west expressway to 417. go north to aloma. the take a left on aloma and its about 1 or 2 on the right hand side. its in a big shopping center. you will come up to a light and on the right side of the road will be the beginning of the shopping center and i think its the 3rd or 4th store in. easy to find.

If you're going to be here that weekend, you could come to one of our meetings. We hold them the last Saturday of each month and they are always fun. You can get frags pretty cheap too. Always love to meet new faces. I'm sure someone would be able to hold your corals until you leave. Just an idea...it's always worth the time.
