anyone sellign vaccum pump?

im looking to buy a vaccum pump for my new overflow, anyone got one they dont need?

how od i hook it up to keep air from comin into the u tube, does a hose fit onto the nipple of the tube then go to the thing ands uck it out... i dont get it

Floyd, You can just use a MJ powerhead. Then you keep the air out of your overflow and gain flow in your tank. Just hook an airline from the top of your overflow to the hole on the powerhead nozzle.

i think im going to use the dosing pump, its 11 bucks, plus im getting my mag7 from marine depot too, also, for my float valve, i can set it to shut off both tt he return, and the dosing pump, in case the overflow gets clogged, so air gets into line, stops siphon, bingo!

also, the powerhead in my tank is not powerful enbough to start sucking aior out well, but an old one i have is, btu its taken apart, half busted, and itsm ore reliable, btu thank you for the idea, it sprung off some more idead to help me
