critter ID?

I found this in my main tank on a powerhead yesterday. I didn't know whether it was a bad critter, so I took it off and put it in my QT. I have seen pictures of these before, but I can't come up with a name and therefore can't do a search for them. I haven't noticed anything bad going on in my tank, so it probably is nothing, but I'd like to get an ID and whether I should be concerned about this little guy. I didn't have anything for reference in the picture, but he is about 1/8" across and is shaped like a cone. Underneath of the cone he looks a lot like a snail.

Thanks for any help

It is a limpet. They are harmless. Think of them as a snail or stomatella.

Ok... that's a concensus. I figured he was not a problem, but better to find out the easy way than the hard way.

Thanks
