CAn I add another injector to MR-2 without using the riser?

Hey everyone -

I first want to thank Andy for his help getting my skimmer repaired. It was leaking like a seive and it took 5 (!) gluing sessions over 3 weeks to fix it.

Would it work well to add a second injector to my MR-2 without using the riser tube? I don't have anywhere to keep the skimmer where it can be any taller than it is, and I would like to up my skimming power (can't ever get enough!)

Anyone do this, and better yet have pics?

Thanks!

Jamie

What pump do you have on the skimmer now? Are you planning on changing it if you add the other injector?

Is it a beckett?

Personally, I do not see much benefit if you cannot increase the dwell time.

I currently have a GenX Mak 4. I would change it to something more appropriate for dual becketts.

Thanks for the response.

yes it would make a difference with a second beckett and bigger pump, also I put risers on the becketts which helped too.
