170g glass tank for sale

After tearing down my tank and cleaning off the coralline algae, my tank is up for sale.

It's custom made by glasscages.com, not show quality, has some blemishes. Nothing major.

No leaks. I thought there were some scratches when I got the tank, but I can't find them. I believe there's a deep one on the back glass. Best thing is if you are interested, come on down and see if you like it in person.

About 2 years old.

Dimensions are 48" x 48" x 17". Square tank, great for viewing on 3 sides.

Has big overflow with 2 bulkheads. I only used one when it was running, had the other plugged.

It's not light, built like a tank. I have 4 suction cups that I used to carry it with. Can be carried with 3 people, but 4 or more people will make it a lot easier. It's also in my 3rd floor apartment, it wasn't fun carrying it up, probably not too fun carrying it down.

It has a stand, I made it myself, so it doesn't look good or anything. But it will hold it. It's 27" high, so not very high.

Asking $300 but negotiable. Stand comes free if you want it.

PM or email me if you are interested.

It has 2 drains, each is 1.5" in diameter from what I just measured.

That is a cool looking tank - it would make a great display.

Thanks for the tank Foob!

I've allready decided to build it into my fishroom. This tank will be
viewable from the rec room side and the 336 will be viewed from the home theatre side. They will share the common 300 gallon sump. I was thinking of making it into an anenome tank. I want to get a blue carpet.

Sweet. Would be some nice space for the anemone to grow. Good luck finding a blue carpet.
