price info

I find Elos products worth looking as they look better than most products, if not all, out there for decorating places.

Anyhow, when do you plan to make price info available in public so that prospective buyers of Elos can plan their purchases without going through emailing you.

Thanks,

coco

Man, your giving me a complex It has been standard practice for Elos and many other brands, outside of the aquarium industry, to direct potential customers to retailers/distributors for pricing and information. So the short answer is, I'm following the lead of Elos Europe and Elos Asia. The longer answer is is a bit more complicated.
1.The first "real" container of products has just arrived this weekend. With that container comes ocean freight and customs and I want to make sure the prices I have estimated are correct when and if we decide to publish prices.
2.To be honest, I prefer not having published prices because I get to talk to more customers which will help me in the future. Our goal is to have retailers that sell Elos as we build our inventory in the US. Until that time, I use the calls and emails as a way to find out what the US customer likes about our products and the things we can better adapt to the US market.
3. Besides the benefit I get from talking to potential customers, I think the customers who are considering Elos can learn a great deal from contacting me. While our website and catalog does a fine job of listing our products, the first hand experience and the access to more information helps potential customers make an informed decision. While price is important there are details about our products that are difficult to realize by simply looking at a webpage or brochure.
In closing, we are a small company and we are always learning. I appreciate the input about our pricing availability and we will and have talked about this issue.
I hope that helps and if you have any other questions, well you know the rest

The reason that I asked this is because I know that Tunze provides price info at their website. Given that there are many products that Elos offers, I find emailing you to ask for price is cumbersome unless you can provide all price information via email.

Anyhow, Elos products look nice and I hope to buy your products in the future.

By the way, could you let me know the price for 120XL aquarium including stand?

Thanks,

coco

Thank you for the info.
It seems that the price for 120XL is reasonable after taking into account of the freight charges from Italy and customs tax.

Keep up the good work!

I've seen the Elos 120 with stand, sump ( with a cool auto top off system / built in reservoir ) and skimmer for 2,700 in California. you still needed a lighting system and return pump.

It actually comes with an eheim 1260 return pump but eheim is out of stock at the moment. I see you are in to freshwater Radar. I brought in some of our freshwater tanks and products and I will set up an 80 when I return from Interzoo. Thanks for the compliments on the equipment. Jesse
