lighting
I would light to know what everyone is running for lights. I am thinking about getting a light for my 125. The light I am looking at has 3-175mh and 2-130 cf and 12 lunar lights.Do you think this is a good light for my tank it will have mostly soft coral some lps and some sps in it.

sounds like a nice fixture. are the MH. single or double end? I have 2 250w singles with 2 VHO's on a75gl. over mostly LPS and they are doing great.
on my 90gl. 2 250MH DBL ended with 4 lunar lights over SPS, I found this is best combo for an SPS tank, 12 lunar lights seem a little much they do light a tank nicely after lights out. hope this helped some. Brain |

Barky it is a dbl ended light with 20K mh bulbs and the 130 are 03 actinic and the lunar are built in

That will be alot of blue lighting on your tank, 20k are a real blue bulbs. you might consider 10k with the 03 actinics, are the actinics VHO? my DBL ends are 14k pheonex and I really like the look. you could put on a timer your actinics to come on first in the A.M. then turn off when MH come on and then actinics come on just before your MH go off for a dusk to dawn affect.
