Cozumel Pics

Here are a few pics from my recent trip to Cozumel, may 15th-22nd. This is with an Olympus stylus 600 and pt-029 olympus housing, without a strobe. I will puchase stobe before next trip, I will still pleased with the color in the close-ups with the internal flash and difuser on the housing.

and here is the link to my photo album with 384 pics from this trip.

Sweet fish and nice pictures! How was the island looking? Has the vegetation recovered from last year's hurricane? Where did you stay? (Sorry for all of the questions )

Thanks for the comments. The Island is re-growing, I noticed new leaves on the trees every day. We stayed @ Reef Club, which was about 75% restored at that time. I would say by next year the vegetation should be mostly recovered, @ the resort they replanted so you dont notice as much leaf-less trees.

The shallow reefs got hit the worst, you can notice some sand and corals laying in the sand. Still good diving. Snorkling in front of the resort was a little disappointing, although we chased around 3 sting rays for a while.

Yeah, there's not a lot of corral right in front of the reef club unless you go out pretty far. Good to hear that it's recovering well though!
