June's photo contest

Last month's photo contest was a success! Watch for the results of last month's contest in the upcoming Sentinel! This month's photo contest subject is night shots. It can be of anything, coral, fish, invert, etc, but it has to be taken at night, no 250 watt MH bulbs, just actinics, moonlights, or with a flashlight

Here's a reminder of the photo contest rules:
1.Official SLASH members only
2.One entry per person
3.Photos must be submitted by the 20th of the month
4.Voting will begin the 21st and will close the last day of the month (30th, 31st), votes should be emailed to [email protected] ONLY after the 20th (midnight on the 21st is fine) and should state which photo you are voting for.
5. Photos may be no larger than 1000 x 1000 pixels. If you don't have a resizer on your computer you can email me your pic and I'll resize it for you.

Please post your submissions in this thread. Last month's thread got kind of cluttered with posts and miscellaneous pictures, so please only post your picture that you're entering in the contest. If you have any questions you may PM me and if needbe I will post a clarification in this thread. I'd really like it if only single photo entries were posted instead of miscellaneous compliments and photos, feel free to start a thread with some of your other favorite shots but keep the chit chat in this thread to a minimum

Thanks and happy shooting!

Chelsey

Can't wait until that sweet cucumber comes out at night! It'll look amazing under the actinics!

(sarcasm intended)

larval tornado

Swim paths of hundreds of darting clownfish larvae, just hatched in complete darkness, as they are attracted to the beam of the flashlight that illuminates them. It was much better in person....
