Another use for a controller
I've found another use for my controller. I put an X-10 module up inside the swamp cooler and added a state in my AC Jr.
This way, we can leave for work and the swamp cooler can turn on automatically later in the day!

That is cool last year when I was remodeling my house I went to get a new cooler switch and cover and ended up finding a programable thermostate. It is so nice in the months that it is not that hot becase it will shut it self off at the set temp and you will not freeze yourself out at nite

That would be much better. I didn't realize they made them for ordinary swamp coolers. Maybe a trip to HD is in order....
In my old house I had a Master Cool Plus cooler and it had the digital programmable interface so I know how nice it is.
